My client was charged with serious drug offenses. Review of the police officers’ body-worn camera footage revealed that they had violated my client’s 4th Amendment right to be free of unreasonable searches and seizures. I filed a motion to suppress the evidence collected and we went to hearing. After seeing the video, the judge agreed that the police had acted unlawfully. The evidence was suppressed, leaving the District Attorney unable to prove their case. The charges were dismissed.
