My client was accused of participating in a department store theft, based solely on an officer identifying her on the surveillance tape. We tracked down the other charged participant who confirmed that the person who was with him in the store was another woman, not my client. I provided this evidence to the District Attorney, who reviewed it with the officers. The District Attorney dismissed the case in the interest of justice.
