Understanding what motivates Amber is key to understanding what makes her a great criminal defense attorney. A passionate advocate for her clients, she cares about the big picture and works diligently to give her clients a positive outcome. Amber has spent her career living and working in Placer County. Her honesty and integrity have forged strong personal relationships with people throughout the local court system. Amber’s long and storied career began in the Placer County Public Defender’s office in 2002 and continued at the Law Offices of Mark A. Berg, which evolved into the Cohen Defense Group. Much of Amber’s work involves handling the most challenging and nuanced cases in the legal system: domestic violence. These cases demand personal attention, and that is Amber’s strong suit. An experienced felony attorney, Amber has practiced in every Placer County courtroom and in front of every judge. She knows the local system like the back of her hand and uses her knowledge to her clients’ advantage.
